Poem: A tinted vision
Written by: Maryada Dwibedi
..A tinted vision..
Many Lives,Many Faces..
It is true that people have many faces
Multi-coloured,tinted,with frills and laces
One minute they'd praise you and your parts
The next, they'd be laughing out their hearts
Multi-coloured,tinted,with frills and laces
One minute they'd praise you and your parts
The next, they'd be laughing out their hearts
Men are mortal and hence too their niceness
Sometimes gentle,nevertheless-
They change colour,suiting their needs
Gifting malice to anyone who heeds
Sad brows and teary eyes
Help them speak convincing lies
And then the gullible man must bear
To hear and see that Virtue is rare
He who cares,submits and listens
Learns again those eternal lessons!
Sometimes gentle,nevertheless-
They change colour,suiting their needs
Gifting malice to anyone who heeds
Sad brows and teary eyes
Help them speak convincing lies
And then the gullible man must bear
To hear and see that Virtue is rare
He who cares,submits and listens
Learns again those eternal lessons!
It is true that people have many faces
Multi-coloured,tinted,with frills and laces
With time,changing colour
Their eyes brighter and Virtues duller!
Multi-coloured,tinted,with frills and laces
With time,changing colour
Their eyes brighter and Virtues duller!
